This 1-day Course is designed for beginners to give them an introduction to safe and sound surgical techniques that are common to all forms of surgery. Participants will be guided on the basics of surgery and instrument handling. There will also be hands-on practice of knot tying, suturing, abscess drainage and tissue approximation.

Dr. Vinal More is an accomplished Minimal access surgeon and an AWR Surgeon. Apart from her busy practice, she also serves as a Professor for DNB Students. She has worked in various institutes, and is currently spearheading General Surgery at the Mumbai Port Trust Hospital.
Her area of clinical interests are Laparoscopy, minimal access surgery, breast cancer, and sub-lay mesh plasty for hernia.
